"Living in God's Favor"

Psalm 33:18 “But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.”

The beauty of God’s eyes being on me created a hunger and motivation to seek and know Him as never before.  This verse does not just remind me, but also motivates me to live in total reverence and submission to Christ in all that I do.  I want to uplift God in all that I do so that God’s love and grace is continually poured out on me.  I profess Peter’s words when he said in John 13:9, “Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!"

How about you?  Is your affection and love for the Lord such that God looks on you with adornment?  Where do you need to place your hope more in the Lord?  Where do you need to die to self, so Christ can flourish in you?  What Scriptures have better equipped you to seek only His glory and not what the world craves?  Click here to join in the conversation and share Scripture or thoughts on this area.  (Click here to read the full teaching on Lordship.)
