"Confronting Sin - Part 1"

Mark 7:15 “Nothing outside a man can make him 'unclean' by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him 'unclean.’”

“Confronting Sin”  changed my paradigm at how I look at sin.  I now see the battle not with sin itself, but in allowing God to take control.  Instead of focusing on sin or the spiritual activities in my life, I am stepping back, praying, and allowing the Holy Spirit to work.    Instead me manning up to sin, I am stepping down, so that God maintains and produces His righteousness in me.  Romans 6:13 is my battle verse, ‘Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.’
