2 Timothy 1:12 “That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know Whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day.” (NIV)
Do you live your life in confidence because of your knowledge of the One in Whom you have placed your faith? Do you live your life strengthened by your faith because your faith has evolved out of your relationship with Christ? Paul exhibits this type of confidence and faith because of Whom He has trusted. It is evident that his relationship with Christ had a direct impact on his faith. You will never have a perfect faith or confidence, but as you walk and live with Christ and seek to know Him better in prayer, Bible reading, relationship and ministry, your faith will grow. As your faith grows, the strength of your experiences with God will grow. When the world sees you walking with Christ in this way, God will use your witness as a light to draw others to Him.
James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (NIV)
