1 Corinthians 9:22 “To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.” (NIV)
Is the purpose and design of your everyday life to live in a way that allows God the opportunity to use you in bringing another to Christ? I have to say that all types of habits, desires, to do lists, and my goals often rise above the eternal destiny of another. 1 John 3:14 says, “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers.” Paul demonstrated a devoted life that put the eternal destiny and spiritual well being of others ahead of his life. Jesus was our perfect example. He continually confounded His disciples by His ability to get sidetracked out of His concern and love for others. Jesus’ love for others made it impossible for Him to not get involved in their lives regardless of His schedule, desires, and purpose. Jesus lived His life this way because there was nothing ultimately greater than a person’s salvation! What adjustments to your life might you make to become a more useful vessel of God in bringing others to Christ?
1 John 3:16 “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” (NIV)
